I'm using Gully Foyle's Upstairs Downstairs 2 to model this floor plan:

The porch is under the main roof, but I put it in a seperate group from the main house - because it doesn't have outer walls and it'll require intricate modeling work/detail.




When I tried to raise the "House Walls" with the push/pull tool, I couldn't do it until I exploded the group. Why?

I'd also like to know if grouping things this way will affect my roof attempts later on?
